Seriously, anyone that only sees the negative chill…and that goes triple for myself.
Don’t forget, not only do I post my updates to Reddit, I do have a Twitter page and a Facebook page for Center Lane. You can also track updates via Comic Rocket and Ink Outbreak.
If you can lend a little time to vote on us, we’re also up on the Top Webcomics and climbing. You can vote clicking here or the banner to the right. Now, you can view the next page before it goes up on our website.
Yeah, there’s a lot of negative on TV news today, but the more balanced (ie:not far-left wing) sources also show the good side of people too. Such as during the aftermath of that string of hurricanes passing through Florida…People who were affected by those hurricanes would still get their boats out & cruise around & rescue survivors trapped by the flooding. Just regular civilians helping ease the load of officials who have to do it because it’s their job. One of those groups of boaters was known as the “Cayjun Navy.”
😀
It just goes to show that, for every one disaster or every one case of a public shooter out there, one can find *scores* of other people being Everyday Heroes, but the biggest bad thing is that the biased news ignores them. You just have to look a little deeper than TV is willing to show to find that the Good Guys vastly outnumber the Bad Guys.
This was written years ago, too. But yeah. The problem is the “if it bleeds, it leads” mentality. The media knows that violent spectacles get more attention than the positive stories, so they matter more.
