David is in the unenviable position of trying to put together what will be the rest of his life…And still trying to pick up & glue together the wreckage that his parents & school has caused at the same time. At least he’s beginning to make some progress with the pieces of his childhood & school, which is a good start. He has a job now, but he still needs to decide on a *career* that will set the path for his life.
I hope someone mentions how much of a good team he could make with his writing & Stacey’s art, but that’s a barrier Stacey has to work on too, since she still doesn’t think it could sell. I think perhaps “borrowing” Kyle’s “personal” movies collection more often might help them make that connection they both need.
What? David *did* say that the movie could have been written better…If Stacey could also branch out with animation, could you imagine the possibilities?
The *last* of his guard? That’s likely to take years, I’d wager…
