Alone In A Crowd
Well, there’s both nothing worse or better than feeling alone in a crowd. To David’s relief, the group stopped focusing on him. Now, he feels completely out of place as conversations he can’t relate to take place around him. He just sits in silence and listens to the tidbits he can catch while having nothing to add.
However, if he disregards these conversations as meaningless, he can miss critical information that can be useful to him in the future. If for nothing else, he could dig up critical blackmail information that can be usable later.
So think about that when you’re sitting alone in a crowd, whether it’s friends, family, or total strangers. Just because you cannot use the information now doesn’t mean it’s useless.
